Like two tea bags in a tea pot..

A tea bag hits me on the back of the head as I move sluggishly around the kitchen on Saturday morning.
"Oops. Sorry." he says, still half asleep himself.
"What are you doing?" I ask as he picks up the tea bag from the floor.
"Trying to get the tea bag in the tea pot."
The tea pot is on the counter, lid off, and he is standing about 6 feet away from it.
He lobs the tea bag a second time and again it misses.
I stop what I am doing, let out a big yawn, and watch him.
With each miss, we become more awake. Our exclamations become a bit more lively.
"Oooo."
"Close."
"Almost!"

And then I find myself saying: "My turn. Let me try."

And as I lob the tea bag about a foot too far to the left, I realize, we are so made for each other.

I guess it was good that the tea bag wasn't wet when it hit your head :)

K&S, ha! I don't think I would have been quite so calm about it if it had been a wet tea bag!

Alisa, girl you need a sweater. Just kidding! I'm glad you think we are funny. It's more me than him though, right? ;)

Hayley, aw shucks, thanks!

Zarah Maria, and thanks to you too!

Cutest. Thing. Ever.
Love you both.

My S and I were just lamenting (while on a Sunday drive) that were frustrated that people like the two of you don't live closer!

You're so adorable!

I ditto Tara--you guys want to move to the west coast? We've got good tea out here too, ya know. And we'll let you throw those tea bags wherever you want.

Tara, I hear you on that one--its always tough when you have chemistry with a couple and they live in another freaking country! Sigh, this is my life.

Tea, well I must admit that G does have a soft spot for Seattle. And between you, Molly and Shauna, I know that its possible to eat like a queen there! Hmm, you've got me thinking.. ;)

My hubbie and I had a similar moment when attempting to lob a banana peel in the trash can, but with much messier results!

I always feel that it's a good match when two people get a kick out of doing ANYTHING together...

A match forged with silliness. I knew there was a reason I kept coming back!

Anne, I can imagine that would be messy. I won't mention that one to G in case he gets any ideas. It's bad enough when he throws his socks at me!

Cin, yes admittedly I think the silliness is what brought us together in the first place!
