Home sweet..
We are back in Canada, where for the next 2 weeks I can say pecan like peecan, instead of puhcahn like my american friends in Paris tell me is the correct way to say it.
Peecan! peecan!
And I can say 'eh' if I want to without feeling self-conscious.
And I can say T-dot, and everyone here knows what I'm referring to.
And I can get a coffee in a paper cup and drink it as I walk down the street.
Oh the simple things.
I will write more soon... eh..

It is also a place where you see brides flying down the highway (veil included) with their bridal party in tow ... but I think that's just a Niagara thing.
Oh, and does life get better than a candied peecan?
Welcome home - Wrap up warm...when you go oot and aboot.
I hope you have a wonderful time at the weddings and all the food.

I think drinking a big coffee (iced in the summer) in a paper cup while walking down the street is one of my favorite things to do when I go back to the States. Enjoy your trip and enjoy the coffee.
Great post. Keep up the good work!

Oh, Canada! (pleasant sigh)
Hope you're having a delicious time!
what does T-dot mean? just curious! =)
Really? No coffee in paper cups in France? That would be a problem for me.

I say peecan too! I grew up in Syracuse, NY. Then I moved to Texas, where they say puhcahn, and they cringed every time I said it my way. It drives my husband (from Texas) crazy. I'm glad to know I have company. (But in California, where I now live, they also say it incorrectly.) ;) Ah, well.
