Glamour shot

Arabesque macaron, apricoty and good

Hermé macaron hand-modelling at its finest. The 007-style leather gloves are a nice touch. Good wrist and palm angles, and an impressive 3 finger grasp of the upper macaron.
The grasp, in particular, demonstrates a steadfast commitment to ensuring the macaron does not end up on the sidewalk during the photo shoot.
Excellent work.
David, forget chocolate, I see a new career in your future.

This photo strikes me as somewhat kinky. Is it just me?

Hey, you’ll be writing for Car & Driver soon! :)
Have you put your hands inside those gloves?
I highly recommend it.

Is "putting your hands inside his gloves" some sort of euphanism?

If so...she did not!

PS: All Hail Hermé!

My mom came to visit me in Paris
I took her to have a macaron.
She said no to the plain looking cookie,Overpriced!
I bought one, she took a bite.
Turned on her heels and bought a dozen;
Too good!
Yur photo is perfect, it looks like you are stealing the macarons!
They are precious you know!

Clare, yummy is right! Although David complained there was too much filling, but I say pshaw to that!

Amy, is it the leather or the sugar? It wasnt meant to be kinky but if I look at it long enough, I can sort of see where you're going with that.. ;)

K&S, leather and Hermé, a match made in heaven I think?!

Alisa, no! I absolutely did NOT put my hand in those gloves. Aren't the gloves usually all sweaty inside after hours of being worn? ew. (David, no offense, its just fact.)

David, somehow this whole post turned out to be a euphemism for something. Im not sure how that happened! It was a perfectly innocent macaron shot, where are these people's minds?

Corey, my boyfriend did the same thing! I bought him a chocolate Hermé macaron and handed it to him and he literally said "I dont think Im going to like that." So I "forced" him to take a bite and now of course he loves them.

Alisa, and you did? you are so gullible :)

Okay, just to clarify....
I am so dumb sometimes...completely misconstrued to whom David was referring in his comment rebutting my comment, which was a comment to Michele....

Cin, well according to David its not a new flavour but it is seasonal, so its not continuously available. I think that's what he said anyway!

Bea, oh its there, the bond girl just went to park it for us!

Zarah Maria, happy to have made you laugh!

Pille, who knew a little black leather could make macarons kinky? ;)

David, yes its true, but strangely they are all Americans. How do you explain THAT!?

Alisa, let's blame David. He's so confusing. ;)

Hi Michele, I'm the one who took Cindy to Pierre Herme on our internet "blind snack" on my first day in Paris! I love your blog, but franchement, I love anything that mentions the two names Pierre and Herme together. I'm in the veritable pastry desert of LA gazing at your Apricot Macarons, thanks for that nice shot -- as a designer, I'd say that it's the contast that makes it good = contrast in materials (perceived as hard and soft), colors (warm and cool) value (light and dark), all unintentional, but you might say, intuitive, which is what good work is all about! I'm curious to hear what you thought of the Cary Grant bio, I LOVED it, I'm reading Moby Dick now!

Cindy, you naughty girl, what would your grandma say?

Ivonne, thanks!

Qwendy, well any friend of Cindy's is a friend of mine, even when her mind is in the gutter! I'm glad you liked my picture, it seems to have caused a stir. The Cary Grant bio is great, but Im a sucker for anything Cary Grant. Best of luck to you on getting through Moby Dick!

Katy, thank you so much for letting me know, it's nice to hear!
